Forgive me, readers; it has been nine months since my last post. LOL Too cheesy? Yeah, I thought so but I just couldn't resist.
It's time for a snack break for the kiddos, so I thought I would post quickly while I was inside.
It is 81 degrees and sunny today in Western New York. In April. Can you see my jaw hanging to the floor? And this is day three of 80+ degree weather, which is not typical April weather for us. Saturday it was 85 degrees!
So I finally got some veggies planted today. The snap peas are in, as are some spinach and lettuce varieties. I planted strawberries last week. And that is the extent of my veggie gardening this year. I've been so busy with other things that I haven't had a chance to obsess and plan like I did last year.
I got some flower seeds planted earlier today, as well. But I can't remember which varieties without going outside to check the labels. Now I need to go plant some flower bulbs my daddy bought for me, and then I guess I'll have to come back inside to start dinner. I have no idea why my family thinks they need to eat on beautiful sunny days like today. I think I could live on sunshine and fresh air in the summer. At least until I start harvesting veggies!

I'm waaaay too lazy to actually blog about garden progress right now, and having spent the last hour uploading pictures I think I'm entitled. Hey....it's only 6:34 am here and I've already been awake for almost two hours! So here are some photos.
